Ryan Sullivan: A Fucking Disaster

Another really interesting episode from Ryan Sullivan. This one's number 56, titled A Fucking Disaster. Lots of reasons to watch this, including hot sex, insights into the making and editing of our porn, and - for true Liam Cole obsessives - a brief glimpse of one of my drawings. It's the portrait on the notice board behind Ryan (above).

The drawing is one of several that I made for Paul Morris when we were trying to develop a face for a robotic man; a kind of animatronic sex toy, slave and housemate. Paul stipulated that the face should look very simple-minded and almost neanderthal, hence the heavy brow on the example seen here. The project is ongoing.

Diary Doodles

I've just started using my new 2010 - 2011 diary, so now seems a good time to relive some of the doodles that happened in the outgoing 2009 - 2010 diary.

Suck Dick, Save the World: Pre-release scene

It's that cocksucking drawing again, this time gracing the temporary* cover design for Paul Morris's new cum-swallowing video Suck Dick, Save the World, due for release very soon. A pre-release scene is already available to download here.

*I don't actually know that this cover design is only temporary, but I'm guessing it's temporary because the image file name is "SDSTH_Temp_Cover.jpg".

Liam on YouTube

Found some old videos of my drawings and other activities, things I'd forgotten I'd even done. Here they be:

TIM sponsorship speedo

Treasure Island Media is sponsoring diver Robert Remington (pictured here) in the Gay Games 2010. To see him in practice, click here.

I was asked to draw some designs for the TIM sponsorship speedo that Robert will wear. Paul Morris came up with the ideas and I drew them as he described. It was a pleasure to work on a speedo that will eventually contain such an impressive cock, as well as a talented athlete. Best of luck Robert!

WILD BREED: BRED WILD (extra)

BRED WILD is an extra scene that comes with the DTO (download to own) version of WILD BREED. It's a collection of clips that aren't in the main video, including some extra sex footage, and a lot of other more random things that were floating around my hard drive. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's fun to see anyway.

It's not included on the DVD version of WILD BREED (nor are a few other things), and there have been complaints about that. Sorry to anyone who's unhappy about missing out. I totally understand it's disappointing that the DVD doesn't seem to include all the extras, so here's the excuse: BRED WILD wasn't even made until after WILD BREED had been sent to the DVD factory. We wanted something extra to make the DTO version appealing, so I rummaged my hard drive and found all these quirky bits of video that I put together as BRED WILD. So that's how it came to be. And, even though it's a wonderful thing, I honestly don't think the DVD is incomplete without it. Hope that makes sense. Here are some stills from it.

More t-shirts (with Cory Koons and Sage Daniels)

Suck Dick, Save the World. Amen.

When the TIM website got refurbished they added some great pictures of guys modeling t-shirts with my designs on. The one above comes from a drawing I did a year or so ago. Paul Morris came up with the Suck Dick, Save the World slogan and I illustrated it.

Paul also wanted a design for his 'eugenics project', so we devised a suitably clinical adaption of the TIM logo (see below). I don't know who this handsome model is, but his furry bare ass definitely does something for the shirt and if there's a way of breeding more like him then I'm all for it.

Finally, I spotted the Dick Man t-shirt making another appearance, this time on Cory Koons' chest at the TIM Truck Party in San Francisco (See below. For more pics, visit Cory's facebook). And just for the hell of it, another picture of Sage Daniels in the grey version. Dick man sure gets around.

Vote T.I.M. in the JRL awards

Here's a link to the TIM blog, with a list of the categories we've been nominated in and a link to cast your vote. Thanks!

And while I'm here, a doodle. This is the outcome of a conversation with Max Sohl (brilliant director of many TIM filth vids), and depicts, from left to right: myself, Paul Morris and Mr Sohl, on a rack, in hell, getting poked with pitch forks, for eternity. Yikes.

Open All Hours tattoo doodles

Liam Cole tattoo designAbout a month ago I received an email from a guy in Australia who wanted to get a tattoo of one of my doodles. He'd chosen one with a guy who's stuck a sign in his ass that reads "OPEN ALL HOURS" because he wanted the tattoo to "show everyone that I'm a total slut". I thought this was a great idea, and we talked about getting the tattoo session on video so I could put it on my next dvd. I also offered to make adjustments to the drawing so that he could choose exactly how he wanted it to look.

And then he went quiet, and I haven't heard from him since. I guess he got cold feet about the idea, which is fine. Since the tattoo is probably never going to make it onto skin after all I might as well post the early design sketches here. Who knows, maybe some other cock slut out there will want to be branded with it...

Total Cock Worship

Thankyou Hank (one of TIM's fine employees) for telling me that my cockface doodle is on the Total Cock Worship blog. What an honor! The picture is in very good cock company.

Doodling on Jack Cardiff info sheet

Doodled on an info sheet from a cinema screening of the new documentary about cinematographer Jack Cardiff. What an inspiring life and body of work. And he says it all started with him reading a pornographic book.

Tom of Finland influence...

Lately I've been enjoying the huge Tom of Finland book that Taschen published last year. It's a wonderful celebration of his work, with fantastic reproductions of his incredible drawings.

With so much of his imagery in my mind at the moment, it's no surprise that the influence is showing. The pictures here aren't copied from his work, they're just things I've doodled on scraps of paper while I'm working. Attempting to draw in another person's style, without having their work infront of you to copy, is alot like immitating a person's voice - and Tom's is a pretty inimmitable one. The top picture is my own tinkering with his fetish for Nazi uniforms.
